It is so much better than the Sony original one!! I’ve never used a hood that properly blocked out all of glare until I tried this one, and I won’t be going back. Ever. It is flexible which makes it really easy to put away in the camera bag, and you can squish and stick it in your pocket if you take it off in a rush. Overall 10/10 product.

Build quality is surprisingly rock solid — no flex, no wobble, even with a fully built rig sitting in it. The super clamp setup is clutch too, lets you throw it anywhere on the cart and dial in exactly where you want it.
